In October 2024, Dende a Nada began with ten days of performance, experimentation and exchange in Cedeira.

Artists from Galicia and further afield came together with local participants through live performance, practical workshops, screenings and conversations. From contemporary dance and physical theatre to masks, personal storytelling and the social power of performance, the first edition established the festival as a place to encounter not only finished work, but the creative processes behind it.

The first edition

The first Dende a Nada established something simple: a festival could be more than a place to present finished work.

For ten days, Cedeira became a space to perform, experiment, learn, question and create together.

That idea became the starting point for what came next.
